My clinical specialties are in working with post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and OCD. I am certified by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) in EMDR, and I offer 'walking EMDR' in an Adventure Therapy context. In an Adventure Therapy context, I also offer individual standard talk therapy, relationship counseling, and family therapy. What I offer in Adventure Therapy is also fantastic for relationship counseling because we work collaboratively THROUGH problems while we hike! My experience includes family therapy as well, especially with parents and their LGBTQ+ teens. I am an amazing fit for individuals who are beginner-level fitness levels and/or plus size, especially those who have internalized negative beliefs and shame about their bodies. I also am a good fit for individuals with physical accessibility needs (including so-called 'invisible disabilities' like POTS, Lyme Disease, Lupus, CFS, etc.) and can tailor our expeditions according to wheelchair needs, resting spots, shade needs, and more. I also am a great appreciator of local flora and fauna. I'm a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist (NYS #088506) who offers Adventure Therapy services, and I have obtained co-licensure as a NYS Certified Guide to support my work in this area.
